I will be posting photos here of Newtek at SIGGRAPH.

Here is the huge banner they got for LW 11.5

Nice. And seemingly very descriptive of the LW user, according to legend ("secret weapon of Hollywood" and all that).

Now you just have to print to sell those shirts so we could all wear them.

Who did the image?

Quiz. What did Jennifer Hachigian say or do seconds before the third photo (http://forums.newtek.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=106019&d=1344383376) was taken?

There is definitely interest.
And the reaction has been so far positive.

Hey, where were you guys? I think we should have made a sticker with our forum's avatar so we kind of know who is who :)
Are you guys gonna be there tomorrow as well? I'm going to watch the softbody demo, Virtual Studio & Genoma I think

They were playing the clapping/gun pulling game from The Magnificent Seven but by the time Rob clapped Jennifer had already pulled her gun, shot off the ends of a couple of PS moves and re-holstered her weapon.

Something you get from the photos that you don't see in the video is that the audience is really right there at the stage and the stage itself looks fairly shallow compared to the video as well. Thanks for sharing.

Man o man, times must be tough. It seems like everything is so much smaller than in years past, or is it just me?

Not it was quite nice.
1/2 the booth was the stage, counters for the people to get swag, the walking dead zombies.
on the back were the demo computers.

I am attaching a side view of the booth.

nope, the photo is lying a bit, on the Siggraph boot .pdf you can see that the NewTek boot is actually one of the bigger and better ones... ;]

I noticed. :) I was actually referring to the overall size of all the booths. Autodesk used to have an enormous setup, with many "stations" showing off multiple demos. I've been to 5 SIGGRAPHs and it seems like the booths are getting smaller every year.

Yes, this time SIGGRAPH attendace was significant smaller, but the energy and conferences were good.

NT booth was big as always, but different.

I do events/trade shows for a living. And universally, industry-specific trade shows have taken a big hit by the recession. Only consumer-friendly shows /conventions like CES and Comic-Con seem to be doing well. Trade shows have been on a steady decline anyways since the previous dot bomb recession and the rapid adoption of Internet technologies.

Our exhibit builder tells me though that the gun trade shows have increased greatly in the past couple of years.
