I just built a scene using realfow 2012 with waves crashing into a building with foam, splashes etc.. Im pleased with effect..
Then i import the scene into Lightwave and the 'water' looks like treacle!
I cannot get any of the foam, mist or splash particles to render either..
I cannot find any tutorials out there for actually getting a surface onto these particles

This is the scene in Layout but none of the particles are rendering (apart from the mesh)
Any assistance?

Is there a surface attached to the particles?
Do you intend to render with Hypervoxels?
Are you using a 3rd party plugin for rendering?

There is no surface attributed to the particles, I want to render with Hypervoxels but if partigons is easier then that's fine also..
Not using a third party plug in..

To render with Hypervoxels you should only need to open the Hypervoxels panel and activate the Realflow object. Then choose type of Hypervoxels (volume, surface, or sprite) and then apply surfacing attributes.

Is there a functional real flow shader plugin nowadays, I recall that being broken or not working for Lightwave anymore?

Tip for foam spray, Use very very tiny hv sprites, do not use any hypertextures, lower density if you have many particles and let the amount of particles do the job.

Yep: it was updated a few weeks back and retains the surface information from one frame to the next.

Can anyone help with the best way to surface these damn Hypervoxels (foam. ocean and spray)..
Its doing my head in and i can find very little online about surfacing a realflow mesh or particles that came from RF..

if the particles are lw particles it should be straight forward...

other than that, i'd search this forum for "realflow"
much info posted on it, or ask at http://www.realflowforum.com/

or even specific > http://www.realflowforum.com/viewforum.php?f=30&sid=58b3311e684915b0816f711c9b109633

Ask support at next limit for suggestions, that might also help sell the notion that ..oh there are Lightwave users.

perhaps contact MR Rid...
