I just wanted to know what some of the best hard body and soft body simulators are that I can use with Lightwave? I have just about given up on motion designer.

I know how you feel Deo. MD is not always the easiest to get a grasp on but you can do some great stuff with it. Perhaps if you tell us what you're trying to achieve, somebody can point you in the right direction with it.

But if you have already decided to give up on it, there are a few options. Worley labratory makes a plug called worley points and basically does softbody stuff. Dynamic realities makes impact, which as far as I know is just rigid bodies. Also, Project messiah has built in softbody dynamics which are pretty fast. None of them are free so I would definately encourage you to give MD another chance. People here on the forums can help you if you need advice.

Hi,
Impact 3.0 from Dynamic Realities (http://www.dynamic-realities.com/) is a good Hard Body Simulator.
There is a even a demo version for the Mac and PC.
It works very well for me on the Mac OS X (Sorry no idea about the PC version).
In case you are interested in Napalm (Particle System) then you have even good interaction between particles and Bodies.

For what it's worth, MD can do cool things if you give it a chance...

Very impressive! The ladder looks very realistic in motion!
