View Full Version : LW 11 normals from 3DC

Hi

i use 3dcoat to generate normal maps, recently LW was updated to 11.2 and it seems the normal maps are working different. The normal maps also give a kind of wired non smooth polygons The normal maps are working properly in the 10.1 version.

So is there any idea what changed in LW 11 from LW 10 regarding normal maps or nodes

Is it your colour space settings for the normal map image?

Set it to Linear. sRGB will modify the normal map.

Not 11.2, but 11.0.2. Second service pack for 11.0. Just bugs fixed.

Hear what XswampyX said. That's good advice.
Other one- turn off Mip mapping. Dithering also off.
