View Full Version : Audio 80ms ahead of video in Revs 4e & 5a

In the past years, audio from the analog inputs always has been in sync with the video, regardless of the latency. Since Rev 4e (450s and 850s) and 5a (455 and 855) this changed so that analog audio now is 80ms ahead of the video or better described: the 80ms video latency is not applied to the analog audio inputs anymore. Embedded SDI input still is fine. When we downgrade to an earlier Rev, everything is in sync again, so no probs with our setup, its definitely a change within the Rev.

If this is what I think it is, this problem turned up in those builds in very specific cases. I know it affected 24fps sessions, but perhaps 25 as well. I believe it is fixed for the next round (which will be 4f and 5b, respectively), which is in internal testing now.
