Hey everyone,

Been a bit quiet of late here.. lots of exciting things going on. One of which: we have a brand new Except website, and the Lightwave tutorials have all been ported to the new site, in the Articles section.

Enjoy! (http://www.except.nl)

(oh and try the arrow keys on the main page... 's fun :) )

Thanks... and... cookies?
I'm not aware of it requiring any. We tested on 8 platforms, never threw up a cookie request... did we make a mistake?

No mistake... :)

Cool Website really is nicely done..

I Just have my Security Settings to prompt for all Cookies...
I allow specific cookies, like for the websites i am visiting....

It's kinda amazing some websites require over a dozen cookies....

I hate Tracking.....

What is wrong with cookies? I am using them all the time to store logged user session id.. This way they're not send through URI, which can be easily seen in web browser address.. Anyone can copy and paste URI from browser to browser, but nobody/not many can do the same with cookies..

Beautiful work on the new website, I shall have to take some time to study it more thoroughly!

Does the AA guide holds up against the changes done in LW 11?

Looks like you've only got third party ones for your twitter, facebook, linkedin and google analytics

All really standard stuff and nothing to concern anyone. Don't worry about it.

nice site BTW

Hi Michael,
Yes they do, but it could use some more info on the new adaptive sampling system. That's the only part that has seen significant change, that table on number of passes isn't valid anymore, since you can more or less set these yourself now.

The hard bits are oversampling, reconstruction filter and the interaction with effects anyway (thin lines, sampled effects, etc).

It should still be 97,8% accurate :)
