View Full Version : Cursor scans timeline on saving

On some scenes, but not all, when I save a scene. The pointer scans the timeline at the point of saving and is non-interuptable until it gets to the end [Sometimes not the last frame just some consistant point on the timeline]

On simple scenes it is over in a flash, other times it takes an age.
It never used to do this I'm sure. So what have I messed up and how do I stop it?

n.b. Trashing configs had no effect.

This must be something that you used in scene. Find difference between scene that doesn't have it, with the one that has it, and you will have the answer.

Master plugins can do something like this.

Save scene, remove item, save again, remove another item, save again, remove something else, and so on, so on. When it'll stop doing it, you have it..

Thanks. I did actually try that. I removed everything in the scene, one by one except light and camera of course and they don't have any effect applied.

Scans real quick with nothing in it but still scans. If I then clear scene, then I'm back to no scan.

[EDIT] Thanks for the tip on Master Plugins. There was one in there called anchor chain or something. Removing that stopped the scan... Now to investigate what that does and why it was there. Thanks again
