View Full Version : How to delete Poly's on top of Poly's?

I some created extra poly's over my model. My Poly count has went thru the roof. How do i delete these extra poly's. Is there a way to do it or do i manuelly have to go ver the whole model? Thanks.

That depends what do you mean by "extra polys on top".
Show screen-shots.

The first obvious idea is to use undo :p

Second idea is merge points, and unify polygons.

But if these additional polygons are not connected by any way with base mesh, don't merge! Just restrict one polygon from them, and use "select connected"- entire unwanted geometry will be selected. Then cut and paste to second layer (just in case). If you're unlucky selecting poly from base mesh- then just "select connected" and "hide", then delete the rest.

If you used Multishift or Bevel you can use mine plugin
UnMultishift from www.trueart.pl
to get ride off beveling.

Thanks Sensi. This what i'm talking about. It's like i have another layer of Poly's over the model.
