View Full Version : Having Problems With my Renders {PLEASE HELP}

IM having problems with my renderings. It almost looks like cell shading. Ive tried re installing Lightwave, diffrent presets, and diffrent lights and I still get the same result. Very grainy! I dont know what ive done!

It just dosent look right. Should be smoother with a better color.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Better yet how do i reset my layout if there is such a thing??

What codec are you using to output your video?

do you gave color correction turned on?

What are your Radiosity settings?
What are your Global Illumination settings?

Have you tried reading any articles on using HDRI as your lighting?

I don't see anything that indicates you have a software problem. It just looks to me like you have some stuff to learn.

Where would i find the color correction tab or button. Im going to up load a pick of the render globals.

Ive been working with lightwave for six to seven years and NEVER had this problem.

just changed it to microsoft video 1 and i think that its fixed. What is the regular preset for the video codex? What do you fella's use??

Don't use either of those, they are decades out of date (possibly quite literally). Xvid is a good, open-source MP4 codec that provides good-looking animation with a very small file size.

What BeeVee said. Those codecs are really old.
