I am a bit out of this color space thing. i know why is it added but since the machine is formatted i lost the previous setting of the colour space panel. and now when i do some colour correction inside lightwave and save it as LW exposed it still seems to be dark. Need help :help:

Jomax, your setup is Rec709 preset, which is fine if you are working and previewing in a video/TV monitor (HDTV). If you are previewing a slightly dark image, that's probably because your display is a computer monitor. If you are seeing a very dark output image (exposed), that's because the output space in your settings are linear. You can change that in the CS panel or in the Output tab of Render Globals panel.

Supposing you would be working with a common computer monitor and would be outputing for web/computers, the sRGB preset linked by Snosrap will do the trick. ...rrrwell, more or less (native sRGB preset it's not entirely correct).

Thanks for all the replies and support. i will try as suggested..i am using a LCD monitor and doing open GL texture visualisatoin for a building which will be later exported to Unity

Thanks to Snosrap, sRBG did the trick well.

and thanks to Gerardstrada for letting me know more about the Rec709 preset.
