View Full Version : Rendered Motion blur for buffers

after fighting with the X and Y buffers, i started rendering with motion blur. I notice with i look at my renders that my buffers (shaded diffuse, specular, reflection,etc), that i render out with photoreal motion blur turned on, it doesnt blur the edges of my object, just whats inside the alpha. So the texture map will be blurred correctly, but the alpha wont be. Im using the new composite buffer export. Is there a way to get the alpha to have motion blur as well, or is everyone going to tell me to buy open exr again?

Hmm, not sure what's going on here. I just did a quick test blurring something and rendering some buffer channels to the image viewer. All the channels and their alpha channels are blurred correctly.

Are you rendering files out and then looking at them, or are you rendering right to the image viewer? What type of file format are you saving? Tga, png, etc.?
