That reminds me a bit of Tin Man staring Zooey Deschanel that was on SyFy

http://www.syfy.com/tinman/

Zooey is not quite as Lara Croft-ish though.

Ahh...Looks like another resident evil or tomb raider thingy)

Who´s to play the Judy Garland role, if not a computer generated version?

Michael

CG Judy Garland seems appropriate for these times.

It would have to be a reality show or something that isn't remotely sci-fi themed for SyFy to actually pick it up.

Y'know, there's like 15 "Oz" books. Some of them must have promise.

Yup. Stay away from a wrestling theme, too.

Teddy Roosevelt riding a cattle stampede to fight an army of mummies.

No, not very funny; too believable.

OK, so the movie would have to start in 4x3 black & white but it would have to go to full-wide Cinemascope 3D in blazing color when she gets into OZ.

I vote Carrie-Anne Moss.

I vote Carrie-Anne Moss.

Nothing against Miss Moss, but somehow I dont picture the Kansas farm girl as a 45 year old woman. Thinking more like Mila Kunis.

Or that chick who played HitGirl in 'Kick ***'. She's probably learned a few more tricks by now.
