We have following equipment set connected to TriCaster XD450 (not EXTREME):

2 cameras
2 computer with video mirrored with iVGA, audio through external mixer
2 mics connected to external mixer
Inserts played back in DDR2

Cameras and DDR2 are set to "Follow" mode to automatically mute mics when the inserts are played back, and vice versa. However, selecting "Net" input mutes all the audio from the mixer, because it is not possible to assign audio source to a Net input.

It would be great option to assign audio source to the Net inputs also. Would this be too hard to implement? I can of course use Net as a virtual input overlay allowing the audio to go through.. Any other workarounds?

What you're describing is covered by audio grouping in 450 and 850 EXTREME models, 455, 855 and 8000. (As you've noted a standard 450 doesn't have this feature.)
