View Full Version : Lathe: ALMOST 360? and: "No Close" option

When you perform a LATHE operation with zero offset, IIRC when you specify a End Angle very close to 360, like 359.8, Lathe just goes ahead and closes of the mesh, as if you had specified 360.

Also, there's no option/checkbox for NOT closing the mesh.

What's an efficient procedure to create, let us say, a "pie", but one that has an interior division at angle zero/360?

I don't know of a way to do that, but there's a quick and easy workaround...
Let lathe do a full 360 with 1 additional segment than you want in final, and delete that last extra segment.

can you not use numerical values on lathe tool ??? edit you can ... but that's not what you want!
