Hi all,

I'm trying to get some sort of face mocap retargeting going in LW with the aim of getting it into unity, and I'm strugging to export my scene to fbx.

I have done a quick test with a downloaded face mocap fbx and have applied it to the character face from RHiggit for quick testing...(thanks rebel hill ;).

This test isn't perfect as I haven't done any weight mapping and there is lots of undesired head and shoulder movement/rotation. I think the basics are there though. I intend to capture my face motion with little or no head movement so it shouldn't be a problem retargeting the motion, then parenting that to a head bone for instance.

The issue I'm having is that I can't seem to export this to fbx. In the fbx viewer the animation is completely screwed and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I've attached my scene file along with the exported fbx with the hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

It turns out that fbx doesn't like bones or objects with the same name...

all of my bones we named bone(1) bone(2) bone(3) etc etc.

I renamed all of the bones and the fbx export worked fine....phew!
