Just updated to LW11. I have a LW9.6 scene (with FiberFX applied to an object). LW11 hangs when loading, provides an out of memory error, but then eventually loads the scene. Rendering the scene crashes LW11.

So, I tried deleting the FiberFX object, turning off FiberFX. Scene renders fine.

Next, I tried adding FiberFX (default settings) to any object (even a new object) in the scene. Result is it crashes when rendering. Any tips?

FiberFX works OK if I make a scene from scratch, but not when editing my LW9.6 scene.

Lightwave 9.6 FiberFX scenes are incompatible with Lightwave 10.1 and above. The newer code is just too different and the results can be unpredictable with old scenes. It's best to strip the old FFX from your scene and apply a new instance of FFX if you're using 10.1 or higher.

Hope this helps.
