View Full Version : Modeling a Tear Duct.

I'm have trouble with where and how to go about modeling a Tear Duct. I've used Extender, but it looked off. Where i have poly's selected... is the the best place to have it?

It depends on how much detail you actually need around the eye. Are you going to be zoomed in and very close to the eye or generally far away from it?
Generally Ive modeled it and have seen others model it by creating a sort of pillow like trianglular object that fits in between the eyeball and corner of the eye.

??? I didn't think the tear duct was visible, except for that tiny hole in the bottom eyelid.

Do you mean the "caruncle"? (Took me some time to find that.) :)

(It's one of those words like "philtrum". Good for bar bets.)

Thanks for the info. I spent another hour or more on getting the tear duct right. Or trying to. Yes... an HOUR on a freakin' tear duct. Man, i want be making any 3D movies no time soon.
