When you use the Menu Editor to search for "Package Scene" there are two entries.

I suspect one is the old lscript version, the other the new Python version.

How do you tell the difference?

Change the lscript file extension to *.OFF, then try both.

Well you probably overwritten folder of LW11 with 11.0.1 patch :). Delete LScript version manually from plugins/script folder and rescan plugins directory form layout. Python version will be used then .(you might have to add menu entry manually later).

When I search on "package" in the LW folder, no .LS, .LSC, or .P files appear, although there are a *.py and a *.pyc file.

It's just possible there are two distinct menu entries pointing at PackageScene. Does the menu editor show the two pointing at different commands or are they both the same?

They're not on the menu side, they're on the command side.

There was a similar problem with "Make Poly" a while back.

Python compiles its scripts automatically and checks between the uncompiled and compiled versions when you launch. If the .py is newer it compiles and launches that instead.

In short, there's no difference between the two entries.

Hmm, that sounds like an issue, though, in that it shouldn't keep both versions around as distinct entries -- if it recompiles the original .py that should replace the .pyc, not appear alongside it. Otherwise the situation is likely to get rather confusing/messy from all the duplicated entries once users have a substantial number of scripts present.

Indeed, if there were the case, wouldn't all python scripts be duplicated?

This must be something specific to PackageScene.
