This is silly, but I can't find it.

The 11 docs say it is "located on the lower edge of the Modeler window." But it's not there. I scanned all plugins (in case it is one), searched the menus, and still ... nothing.

???

Try clearing out your configs.
Or add it manually.

Thanks for the reply.

I've done a system-wide search for it, but nothing comes up. Maybe it's named something arcane? Do you know the exact name, assuming it's a plug?

Thanks.

Are you running 11 or 11.0.1 Mike? :)

11.0.1 build 2253, Mac 64.

I don't usually run the Hub, though. Could that be the issue?

Does this help?

Thanks again, and well, yes and no. First, I find it very odd that the Studio Production Style Menu Preset doesn't include this.

Apparently, this button replaces what you have. Hit it once, and it rotates the target object so the selected poly is facing up at 0,0,0. Paste the object and hit the CPlane Align button again and the object returns to its original position and rotation with the pasted object correctly aligned.

Maybe it was just a Mac install oversight. I think I'll try to put this somewhere else, since adding it to my menus as you have it fails.

So cplane (http://www.ats-3d.com/cplane/cplane.htm) is now bundled with LW? o_O

Apparently so ... I used to use CPlane.p back in the old days. Loved it. This seems to be a bit different - much more single-purpose, with a strict linear workflow (at least it is here).

HEY! ats_c-plane (lscript) still works! :D (from 2002)
