>>What's Render Blade ?
External software for real time play back LightWave3D object file(*.lwo) and scene file (*.lws). Alpha version is available on 2003/8/15.
Maybe beta version, you can convert scene file to view from Web. I hope Render Blade becomes defect standard of Web 3D animation.

@Proton
I agree, and this should be in LW8+, right?

This would be perfect for clients to view animations without us needing to render, make a visit and setup a presentation. If we could upload the .rbd file and have it played in a browser for the client to view, oh, the time saved.

The time saved would be much more than faster CPUs or even hardware rendering.

Wow! Thanks! That is really cool -- a realtime rendering engine for Lightwave!

While it has a lot of the same limitations as a game engine (no procedural textures, 8 lights max, etc) this is still a REAL useful tool!

Nice find. :)
