View Full Version : Free Tutorial - Mechanical Displays: Morph

05-09-2012, 05:49 PM

I put together a shortish (22 minute) tutorial showing how to make a mechanical display (tilting tiles) in LightWave 9 and up using no plugins. The tutorial covers the (very basic) modeling and simple node setup.

While the video is free, I am using it to boost my Twitter following and help transition people from my old, general, YouTube account to my new graphics-centric account.

If you'd like to get this free tutorial, simply follow me on twitter (http://twitter.com/dwburman) or subscribe (http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=dwburman&feature=iv&annotation_id=annotation_498871) to my YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/dwburman).

Check out the promo video here: http://youtu.be/4vatpUJE01s

I'll send you a DM on twitter or a message on YouTube with the link to the download page where you can download the 108MB rar file with the lesson video and project files.

First of all, thank you to everyone who has subscribed. I'll be sending out the next batch of links to those I can shortly.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a bit of a flaw in my plan.

I am notified when people subscribe to my YouTube channel, but some subscribers come in as "a new user" who doesn't have a YouTube channel yet. This means I don't see those subscriber's account names, so I don't know who they are and I cannot send them a message on YouTube.

If you have subscribed to the YouTube channel, and have not received a message from me with the download link, please PM me here, and I'll send you the link here.

Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience.
