I get my eyes crossed everytime I consider multipass.

Anywhere I can get in depth training online in Multipass?

This article by Gerard Estrada originally printed in HDRI Magazine now on lightwiki

These videos by Cageman showing how to work with multipass in compositing using Janus. (It is useful to understand how the pieces go together so you understand WHY you are breaking them apart to begin with.)

When you say "Multipass" are you talking about render passes?

A basic Google search will give you a bunch of hits.

Good point. Breaking out elements for different passes is a different beastie than just separating render passes.

Yes, Multipass rendering, where one can take the passes into photoshop or After Effects and use them to their fullest extent.

Dexter2999 got me started with a good link. When I get to the photoshop and AE part I'll be on the hunt once again. :)
