I'm going to model some houses for a model railway. Now I wonder can somebody tell me if there is a method to "flatten out" the walls like a "paper doll set" in order to texture them and make a print to glue on the real house. I think like the ATLAS UV map.

There isn't an automatic method inside Lightwave, you could manually UV each axis with Planar mapping, use Texture Guide to create a cubic UV, use PLG's UV plugins or do the morph trick to flatten it out but every method has the possibility to distort the geometry

The morph trick (in case you didn't know) involves creating a morph target, moving the polygons of the object into a flattened position along one axis, creating a planar UV map then deleting the morph. *If you use this method be sure to deselect the UV map before you delete the morph otherwise it will clear the UV's too.*
