Love the Lightwiki! Great site. Thank you!

cheers much appreciated comments like that drive us forward , its becoming a full time job recently minus the pay :hey: , I wish we could spend more time on it but life kinda gets in the way , I will reinstall the map plugin that was great also we will refine the tutorials some more "ie" Beginner Intermediate Expert plus a get started Guide ,Rome was not build in a day , it will take time, some features are missing like the rss feeds for all the other Lightwave sites " buggy "plus we downed tools for 2 weeks because I felt there was no fresh eyes and in all honesty it was getting me down looking at the same html 24/7 , we will never go commercially too many sites have that angle covered SQ LIBERTY ect however I would like to help Bryphi out and other users via donations and such ... for example we donated to the kickstarter project from the Lwiki paypal account on that subject all donations from the site go direct to Ben and regarding Ben V he pretty much has stepped back atm due to work and family "busy man " that and I was getting on his nuts asking him questions every 5 minutes ,so the tourch has been passed to me as such , all I can do is code and design stuff the content is generated by "YOU" and I need more of you ...

EDIT KICKSTAR PROJECT WAS ENDANGERED mainly because the guys post here and we hope LightWave will be used in production http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1171142316/endangered ... that and its a good cause

This tutorial Threads comes up over and over again (Lightwave have outdate tutorials (http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?t=121698)). All tutorials you found for LW are the Basics (LightWave Training - just a list (http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?t=125893)) and small peaces of a full Production pipeline for ArchViz, Product Shots or VFX.

I always hope that at last anyone make a (paid) full realistic more hour comprehensive Guide for Production FX Workflow done with LW :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JM97LbyXQ5o&feature=player_detailpage#t=25s

Specially for VFX, Lightwave is not the only tool - you have to learn and the Knowledge how everything from Scene setup, Tracking integration, Light, Texturing and rendering works effective and time consuming together to get 100% realism CG integration.

It's not the LW-User friendly way to watch Maya or MAX Lessons, because Online schools like Escape Studios or FXPHD (Schools are not using LW (http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?t=125463)) don't teach LW for FX Production :hey: .....

well, some of the tutorials in "LightWave Training - just a list" goes beyond basics,
but from what i've seen most 3D tutorials for Maya/Max aren't that much different...

however i agree, nothing would be better than some kick-a** tutorials for Lightwave...

For more advanced tutorials, I suggest Liberty3d.com (http://www.liberty3d.com/).

Keep visiting, because soon enough they will be releasing tutorials based on Kat's experiences in working on "Iron Sky", and you don't really get more current than that.

Really liked the dynamics tutorial. The hability to control the amount of break force that sometimes makes the rigid looks like a soft is really cool. That's what I've seem in Houdiny.

I really would like to see more and more improvements in this area.

let's imagine a piece of wood. It's too rigid but once it's broken, parts will bend as soft.

let's see the scene in Hulk in where he rips a car to use as a muffle. When tearing it's kinda soft, but once it's in his hands it's hard. Collision with abominable makes it smashed.

Any possibility to have SMASH in Bullet? The hability to mix hard and soft.

Something that seemed to help C4D is the Cinuniversity. Or look at teaming up with some of the many LW video training sites and have more workflow and end to end pipeline videos done.

Silvio, just so you know: there's no 'h' in 'ability'.

Which dynamics tutorial were you referring to?
