What's up with these files, Lightwave_11_0_Content.zip.001 and .002?
If they are renamed to end in zip my unzipper says "Archive Verification Failed" and if they are not renamed, Windows (Vista) says they are an unknown file type.

What is the secret?

Here's the error message from winzip: Error: unable to seek to beginning of central directory.

It also wouldn't work with Stuffit Deluxe.

i think you have to select the two file, not only one file, and than with the right mousebutton click on extract, i think this should work.

Try with 7-Zip

It's another Newtek special! Its not in front of me now but there is basically another zip you have to download which stitches the two content zips together to make one "master" zip. Can't remember the name of this zip but think the filename kind of explains it. Download it, double click on it, making sure the 2 content zips are in the same directory, and it should combine the other two automatically.

Hi,

This is what the WinZip app used to do to split a single large file across more than one archive. WinZip was 3rd party, and I note that Windows 7 now includes Compressed Folders (zip) as part of the OS.

I would download WinZip application and try that ( can't quite remember but i think you do justselect the last fiel in the list ie. 002 and it will stitch it back together again ).

Good luck.

Joe

Thanks, all. Selecting the two together seemed to be the key thing. 7-zip worked too, if both were selected.
