View Full Version : TurbulenceFD experiments: Clouds and halorays

experimental tests, initially just checking cloud generation from turbulenceFD, rendered out 32 bit tga“s imported to After Effects as straight unmatted, that gives only the clouds.

Gradient ramp in after effects, used cc ray burst 2,5 and halo alpha on cloud layer, had to add a duplicate layer of clouds above that to avoid th ray burst washing clouds out.

Additional color/lightness correction of the clouds in After Effects.

Exported out to quicktime h264 some quality loss in color and contrast, If I decide to improve this I put it up in better quality on my vimeo page.

Clouds renders much faster with TurbulenceFD than hypervoxels, and you can avoid blobs.
Oh yeah..watermark all over the place, still working on the demo version of

Thanks Michael. So many times I've wished for Terragen clouds to be exported from TG2...maybe someday we will get THAT working. :)

In the meantime, I'm certain this could be useful and I plan (someday) to give it a try. For now, I'm still fiddling with the DAZ --> LW workflow I asked you about earlier today. :D
