First time posting something here :)

This is part of the last work I did for Eurosport.
YOZ Cession Mpeg 8Mb (http://mapage.noos.fr/facial2/yozcession.mpg)

I would like to hear your opinions.

WOW!!! that camera movement.. that lighting... that beat... that motion!!

Like it very much, I have no critique at all, love the shot where the board comes over the edge of the halfpipe, the perspective there is so real. Another shot is the copy's of the boarder in the sky and it's a very powerfull shot with the music supporting it...

I could say a lot more about the leader but let's conclude it in one word:

Facial you are a hero

how do you get lw to render in that style, i take it you use cel shader but do you have more tips to help newbies achieve this grafiti/toon look

great style and animation

Well Eeeeh thanx :)

No special tip, sorry. Unreal set to 2 levels of color instead of basic 4 colors level. The rest is up to your liking in terms of color choice :)
I usualy render characters and background separatly for better color toning in AE.
Nothing magical, very very basic, hope this helps a bit....

great job... amazing... simply kicks ***

the way your style combines illustration, motion graphics and 3D animation is just so unique and amazing. I mean, almost every still could be part of a print campaign as well.

I couldn't believe that this was mostely done in Lightwave. Looks like heavy compositing.

I'm already looking forward to Euro 2004 :)

Howdy guys :)

wizlon : Thanx a lot !

-EsHrA- : I had less than 2 Months, 3 title sequences (2 of them are made of similar shots, with some variations though ), and 10 or more jingles with characters animations too, and several various elements to suit the program.
The music was specialy created for the title sequences by a studio called "La Plage Record", the guy speaking is a well known man of Rap music (thouh I can't remeber his name)

Weetos : Thank you !

marc : Thank you very much, I've seen your cool movie too :)

pblacklock : The spinning thing, if you mean the wave with the surfer, it's HV ;)

Thanx all for your nice comments, really encouraging !

REALLY great work. I think it's impressive that you can do this celshade/vector looking thing, motion graphics AND photoreal work. People kill themselves everyday to just do one of those things really well.

I can't say anything negative about the clip.

I grow weary of hearing how awesome you are. I'm going to go paint the wall with my brains.
