Haven't even installed it yet but noticed that the download link gave me the 32-bit version (Windows). Where do you get the 64-bit version?

The email from Newtek should have included links to both 32bit and 64bit, together with content etc.

Download it from here, it's the same as the commercial version.

OK...will have to wait for a reply from CS, then, because I forgot to change my email address before ordering and the email went to my old email addy (which is to say it's somewhere in the ether without any hope of ever reaching me.)

Thanks for the comeback.

Yeah I thought they fixed that by now.

OK, well here's another problem...I'm entering the license key I have for the 32-bit version of 10.1 I have in LW11 and - even though it says "License key successfully written", when I reopen 11, I'm sent right back into discovery mode! Did they issue new license numbers for LW11, too?

BTW, thanks for the link, Jason.

Yes, you will have a new serial number to generate a new license key.

If you bought the upgrade online from Newtek, you would have seen a Purchase Order on screen, during your purchase.
The new serial number was displayed on that, which you then enter in the Registration section, to generate your new keys.

I just bought it too!
I always check my emails ect before purchasing, upgrade ect. However, i did not have to download lightwave as I had the trial installed yet to be activated. Just entered the key and off I went which is a nice feature to be able to do that.

It was weird though. In the email they sent me, the 64bit link appears several lines below the 32bit link.

I did get the new serial number, but it doesn't seem to help generating a new license key. Guess I'll be waiting til Monday. :(

Did you go to register page and registered your Lw11 serial number (you should have that with your purchase e-mail) and dongleID ? when you do that it automatically generates permanent License.key there.

I had a similar problem which was down to human error (mine). You never know, this might be useful:

Hadn't tried that Lewis. Will do. Thanks.

Digging LW 11 so far, but does anyone know where to get the new documentation? The only documentation available on my download page is 10.1. Or is there any new documentation at all?

They are in the email they sent you originally with purchase.

Didn't get the email. I screwed up and forgot to change my addy before I purchased.

Yeah, I'm an idiot. :jam:

I can relate to that. :) I guess call CS about your email change and ask them to resend the important messages to your new address, but be prepared to sit on hold for awhile. They never did answer my emails when I was trying to buy LW11. Apparently 11 is a big success, and staffing has become an issue ... these are the problem we want. "Happy trouble." :D
