I submitted this to the community section of the form. Everyone there is getting the correct rendering, yet on my Mac Pro I'm getting this molten effect. Can someone please run this on a Mac and see what you get? Should just be glowing tubes. I need to be able to move an image along an object for an upcoming job. Used UVCreeper to get this done. Animation works great, but does not render correctly! Thanks much.

Thanks. Well, looks like a bug in the Mac Port. I'll submit it.
What version of Lightwave did you use?

looks like a uv problem to me. don't know why the PC version is rendering as expected. The mac version has always had wonkiness with polys that go outside the UV grid.

Looks like the 300% value in the luminosity channel with a black/orange surface was causing the problem. Just applied the same image map layer to luminosity and rendered properly.

I had taken one band, and entered a negative number to make the texture travel the opposite way. Then it turns to hell, but if you put all negative, or all positive numbers in it works fine. Can someone verify this for

That looks like good bug report fodder. Reproducable and maybe even a workaround to help demonstrate what is going wrong. :)
