As this title, does anyone have the same problem?

This is my environment:

Project format:720 x 480i
Live video Input:SD 720 x 480

The problem is that everytime when we use keyed Live video and import the Virtual Set, the Live video blurs.

Please see the attached

I don't know if it's the reason, but I'm seeing a very slight down-scaling in the live source ... maybe around .5% or so. that would result in a very slight softening.

Hi, SBowie & joseburgos

I used the LiveSets "DemoStudio" Center as default,
didn't scale any Video including LIVE Video.

Take a closer shoot size to show the blurs in VirtualSets.
I had try to use the other Sets with default.
The results are all blurs.

If you thought the result was caused by Live video down-scale,
the result is the same with I thought.
Please tell me why Live video had been down-scale in any default LiveSets with default settings?

The other hand, I had test the other TCXD850 & TCXD450 with HD & SD Project with HDcam & SDcam, the blur is always been appeared.

I had used the "Virtual Sets Editor" tool to import Sets PSD, the Live Input A with set 83% scale in PSD.
The Live video could be caused least blur.

I hope Tricaster could fix this issue as soon as possible, or tell Users how to avoid the result.

Thanks your support again,
Needs your suggestion soon.

The sets I build and the ones I build for my own use, is all done in HD sessions. In GD session with HD cameras, I don't see blur. I'll try and see if I can make a test using SD camera and confirm.

In my opinion, the blur is definitely cause by the slight down-scaling of the camera video. Admittedly, I didn't notice it at all...until really looking closely at the sample images (then re-reading the OP to make sure I wasn't missing something).

I'm pretty confident that if you could get a scaling factor that was exactly 100%, the very slight blur would go away. However, I don't think you could achieve an exact 100% scale factor without creating a LiveSet specifically for the purposes of testing this theory.

To answer the question in the follow-up post, the reason for the down-scale is simply the zoom level that you have chosen. If you were to zoom in a bit, you would come much closer to the 100% scale factor. If you are zoomed in to the maximum allowed for this LiveSet, there is nothing you can do about it.
