Can anyone suggest a way to recreate this logo but with circles instead of squares? I feel like there should definitely be a way, I'm imagining using something like the Dots procedural, but I would need a way to change the scale of the dots based on Distance to Object maybe and have two nulls on either side as the objects, or even better one in the middle and the distance would be going away from it. I'm afraid I just don't know nodes well enough to even know if it's possible. Thoughts?

I've got a start now, using a circle image and a UV map that has every poly taking up the full map. Now I just need a way to change the scale of the images based on distance to object...

OK hours and hours on this and I simply had to think outside of the box. I didn't need to resize the image in the UV map, I needed to resize the UV map around the image.

Thanks, I'm actually going through several variations with the client now, some don't even use the circles.
