I'm working on a project right now that requires me to make a bunch of discontinuous Paths within one Path Layer in Photoshop.

This is easily done, BUT you have to jump back to the Path Palette and click every time you want to start a new, short, discontinuous Path, within the same Path Layer. It's a huge PITA.

My question: is there some key that could be held down while using the Pen Tool that will allow one to start a new line segment within the current Path Layer??

Thanks!

....sheesh, ain't that the way it always is?

With the Pen Tool active, hit CTRL, the cursor turns into the Select Arrow temporirly, and clicking will deselect the previously drawn vectors, and you can start a new, discontinuous, segment.

Carry on. :bangwall::eek::newhere:
