did u also use displacement maps? how were you able to get the silhouette shape of the bumps on the claws with only a normal map?

If that thing was attacking New Orleans, he'd be in trouble -- they'd put him in a big 'ol pot and have a crab boil, wit som Zaterains and som tobasco der shar.

kopperdrake - thanks, bump map on steroids goes a long way :)

Funke_Maximilia - yes, i also used displacement map with normal. your base mesh in lightwave must be at least 80 to 90% accurate of the reference, so when you sculpt it in zbrush, you only put the details, and not changing the topology of your base mesh.

safetyman - thanks. ill gather some spices so ill be ready when it attacks :) thanks all for the comment.

another composite i did. i call it the "Dont-attack-the-city" mode... crawfish... thingy, which sounds so cheesy. but anyway, hope you guys like it.
