hi LWavers :)

here is my first "finished" :) LW 11 render, i hope you like it.

there are about 300.000 instances of trees in the scene, rendered with AA 1/32 in 11 minutes (1920 x 960)

some post in photoshop (fire added, clouds, colours ...)

not bad from the composition
The color-match needs working on.

The two Air-Balloons in the background are
but the one in the foreground looks toyish.
Also give the balloon more definition with
better textures or procedurals to get that
effect of fabric right.
You also can set up local ambient for the
ballonn etc.

For the clouds....
this image is a no-go
google for something that is better.
And also, perhaps a little haze would do
no harm... it's in the mountains.
You are from Austria.. you know what mountains
look like no :)

hi renderwerx,

thanks for your feedback, yes the balloon in the foreground needs better textures or some wrinkles :) maybe i can optimize that.

i tested a lot of coud backgrounds, but this image looked best, why is this image a nogo ?
i thought this kind of cloud image would give the render some dramatic atmosphere :)

basically as if the mountain scape is a model held in front of the
I recomend a sky photo with really distant clouds
