Hello All;
Could you let me know the most reliable way to export a Lightwave 10.1 scene to Blender ?

My first choice would be .obj but I hear that the exporter isn't too reliable. Also, .obj export seems to exist in Layout because there is an obj option in the preferences but I can't find it when I try to export a scene.

How about Collada that I'm hearing a lot about - could I use that ?

Thanks for any help/advice you can give me.

I know Blender can open LWO files with no problem -- it even saves your sub-d's if you have them (as a sub-d modifier), but I haven't tried opening scene files. I'll give it a shot when I get home this evening.

Thanks all;
OK I found and installed the object (.lwo) importer/exporter but it doesn't seem to export scenes. Anyone know if a Importer/Exporter is available for Blender to Import Scenes (.lws)? Thanks.
