View Full Version : Odd edges giving me trouble.

I wonder if anyone can help me out here, I have a column made but when I render it out a few of the edges are giving me problems:

Looking at the wireframe shows me that some of the edges are for some reason displayed differently:

And looking at the model in Modeler also shows some edge differences:

When I first constructed the model, I used LWCAD to sketch the column base profile, then I span it round to create the shape. Those lines look to me like the lines where the sketch curve points were. Examining the model in Modeler, I cannot fathom any difference in those particular lines except that they display in a different colour, but I also note that when selecting polygon loops, the loops stop at those lines. So those lines seem to be denoting some kind of barrier or model edge, even though all the connecting points are merged.

I'm sort of at a loss :) can anyone explain what's going on and, more helpfully, describe what I should do to correct it please?

I will upload the model for people to look at in a minute...

This are 2 points polys:

-select polygon mode in modeler
-hit w (for statistics)
-clic the little "+" in the "2vertices" line
-delete

Dude you poly count is outstanding :D
