hello-hello, small question here,

is there any big difference as far as render quality between sIBL and Image World?
or is the only basic difference that sIBL creates a sun and a ground-plane?

(image world is found under Ctrl+F8 / backdrop)

sIBL uses a separate image for lighting and reflection and background so it renders a lot quicker and you won't get weird radiosity spots if you use a low res HDR image like the sIBL library's contain. Sibl uses the texture environment plugin which is not that different from the image world plugin,,, only the mapping type is different and you have less control of course.
