Ref: AutoToolChange
By Samuell Kvaalen (http://www.kvaalen.com/plugins/Plugins.html)

Can This script be modified:-
Is it possible to make the plug-in remember the mode setting for each item it is placed on, ideally saved with the scene file or possibly a separate preset txt file for the scene.

I have been using this handy plug-in on some of my scene files.
The problem is the settings are not saved with the scene file.
Every time you open the scene, you have to access the plug-in for each item and re-attribute the selection mode. - This is in 9.6 and 10.1.

I don't know how to script it myself; and possibly this is too much to ask someone else for.

I have tried to contact the author but have had no response yet.

Regards
Kev Barnes

Yes, the script as-is doesn't save the settings with the scene. One of my guys modified the script so it does now. I'll see what I can post when I get into work. We also further modified it so it has Stretch as an option.

This one will save your tool choice with the scene file. Additional buttons for Stretch and Squash were added.
