Does LW 11 fracturing keep UV information intact?

Do you keep your UV information on the fractured objects ?

Voronoi shatter seems to...... Looks a bit erm messy.

For the soccer ball, are you shattering a sub-d object? I think I remember hearing Rob Powers say that shatter only works on poly objects. So just freeze your object first. Then your UVs, textures, and polys might look better after the shatter.

Let us know how that works... I'd be curious. Haven't bought into LW11 yet.

It's not really lightwaves fault, I think it's my rather hastily thrown together UV map. It's a testament to the fracture tool that it didn't destroy it.

Yes it does preserve UVs.
