I'm doing an animation of a ship floating in the sea, I have a displacement map in the water surface which I'm happy with, but how do I get my ship to flow along with the same displacement map motion as the water? I tried just bobbing it to give the illusion but to no avail the sea motion just looks too wrong-please help-is there a way to copy the displacment map from the sea object's displacement to the ship's y axis displacement?-I tried pasting the procedural displacemnet map to the ship's deform properties but I just got a deformed ship-any ideas-NULL? I'll post the test render on my site for a visual ref. as a quicktime file at --
