hello,

Until NT provides support for firewire print to tape, i am having VT3 TED render an avi file then letting premiere transfer the video through firewire.

what is the best and/or correct avi video/audio codec to select in render so that the avi file works with premiere with as little quality loss as possible?

I'm currently using:
DV VIDEO TYPE2 (PCM AUDIO) for video
UNCOMPRESSED PCM for audio

Should i be using one of the uncompressed video codecs as well?

If your purpose is to play it out firewire, you have chosen the best codec for this.
