Don't think my drawing ever got past the "8 year old" stage. I did try but I dunno, I just have to accept I'm more technically minded.
Do wish I could draw though, these days, just isn't the time to learn, epsecially as I ain't exactly a youngster. ;)
16 years old, gawd, I don't even wanna think about how long ago that was.

Mind you, I had met the missus by then, which is nice.

Nice! And what a shame not to pursue it. I tried and tried and tried, like Colkai suggests, but just couldn't do it ... I remember friends at primary school who could draw like this, at the age of 9 and less ... they just could.

Ah well ... so I learned photography and then all this digital stuff when it became available instead!

16 ... yeah ... err ... sometime back in the day ... :D

messing around

I dont think you should give up no matter how crappy an artist you are ! i know some people who just cant draw worth a france but it doesn't mean pleasure can not be withdrawn from the experience , sometime art doesn't need to be pretty to be nice :) I suck compared to some of the concept artists I have seen , these boys blow me away with there skills ...
