Hi! I did this some time ago, and forgot I did it... C&C are welcome!
Anyway, this is something I did on the fly, in a moment of inspiration, so don't be too severe with me. Hope you like it!

Thanks! I must confess I like it too, I'm not sure I did the post right though.

excellent work! only one thing - it seems to me that here doesn't suffice Ambient Occlusion on surfaces, especially on the floor so gleams between boards are insufficiently shaded.

I see, you're right. And for some reason there are light leaks too. I should change the texture... Thanks for pointing it out!

Nice. The wood texture and (to a lesser extent) the fabric and glass are letting it down but there are some lovely touches, especially the stones and the little bollard lights which are beautifully done.
Don't take this the wrong way but this could be a real top class portfolio piece.

Thanks for commenting, this kind of critics are always good. I agree about the wood and fabric, but I can see how I could improve/change the glass material. Could you explain better?

I was going to say that the glass is maybe too reflective and the reflections too sharp but I don't think that's what's bothering me. It would be like that in these circumstances.
It's actually the background photo that needs to be higher resolution and when you see that through the glass, you think the glass could be improved but it's really very good

I made some changes following your suggestions. I hope it's better now.
That old planks texture was really awful! Keep C&C! Cheers

Looking great but what the heck is going on with that candle/table specular hit / caustic / whatever that is?render bug?

Thanks for the comments! Then you saw it... damn! ;) It's the reflection blur. I tried to find a workaround but with no luck. I can't get rid of it!
