There are tons of new and cheap midi control surfaces on the market. Countless sliders, knobs and flashy buttons. Is someone in Newtek can say if in the near future they plan to use them ? I can see many useful jobs for sliders and knobs. Just imagine to have ability to hook up any parameter to knob or slider and change this in real time in VPR. For example you can have assigned sliders to camera zoom, light intensity, morph sliders or any other parameter. In modeler You can have knobs to control bendsaw or many other parameters and even assign buttons just like normal keyboard with shortcuts.

It will be great continuation of virtual set idea !

Once LW11 comes out with the SDK it should be relatively easy for a third party to add midi support.
If NT don't that is. This is one of the main reasons as to why I wanted to see an SDK in that area since the Virtual Studio tools were released in 10.0.

Cheers,
Mike

wondering about this myself.
would love to use knobs on my controller to control things live in the virtual studio.
been searching for a virtual HID driver that would accept midi signals from the controller then output them as HID... no luck so far tho.
