New NPC characters have been introduced in the world of FunGoPlay... here is a new line up image showing some of them added to the group.

These samples are fantastic! Great work on all the character designs, and I agree w/the sentiment that the originality of your characters just consistently blows me away.

Very nice work! Are the mouths animated separately as 2d image sequences?

Painted faces! I like that. But how do you go to animate the face?. Workflow please!

The mouths and eyes are animated in Flash and exported as an image sequence. This is similar to how we did the faces for Batman New Times.

For Batman NewTimes the faces were all done in LW but rendered out as image sequence and then mapped onto the 3D heads.

In the world of FGP, the 2D artists create the sequence in Flash and it is then mapped onto the 3D characters.

This was a style choice... I like the look and it gives a unique feel to the characters. I think it's more work to animate then if it was just a 3d face but I believe the final look makes it worth the extra work.

Glad you guys like the stuff... if you have kids, introduce them to the world... it's a fun experience.
