Is it alright to mix texture map resolutions?

For example: 512x 512 for displacement and larger maps for normal and for color

As long as you are happy with the final output I don't see why this would be an issue, but you need to ask yourself if one map deserves a certain resolution to avoid showing pixels wouldn't another map need the same resolution?

If you want to lower the amount to memory consumption consider this:

Not different resolutions, but different color depth.

I was considering saving ram but,
JefferSG; You’re right, seems like I get better results with the higher displacement map
