Hi,

original animation has been rendered at 30 fps with field rendering off. Transcoding to PAL DVD ( with Premiere ) and the motion is jerky. Am now re-rendering at 25 fps but not sure whether I should have Field Rendering off or on ( lowest first ).

Also, what is the best suggested format for individual frames. Have used JPG for rough guide but now looking at TIF ( though having problems with 32 bit ).

Thanks,

Joe

No replies to this post, but others have helped elsewhere.

If anyone else is out there with the same worries, 25 fps and lower field first is the answer. Also, 32 bit TIF includes alpha channel, which Iam not using, so 24 bit will do.

Just because you've had no replies, doesn't mean that people don't appreciate the info, so thank you from everyone :) Mind you, it will also quickly get lost here on the forum where everything moves fast. If you want a more permanent place to put it, can I humbly suggest my own LightWiki site? ;)
