I'm trying to watch the LW event from earlier: http://www.stickam.com/viewMedia.do?mId=192404971

The audio and video are massively out of sync, for me at least. Is there any chance of fixing this and, hopefully, put it somewhere more accessable like YouTube?

Thanks for the link. Is this the vfx presentation with lw feature reveal? I missed the livestream. Downloading now :)

no, in this video is nothing shown from lightwave 11, only vfx discussions.

i hope we will see the lw 11 presentation

Ah, ok...I turned it off because the sync issue was really annoying.

The audio was spot on in the actual stream - not sure what's up with this clip, hope they get it fixed.

Yeah, the audio was in sync when I watched it yesterday night. The last 20-30 minutes of the presentation gave an overview of new LW11 features and some of them were shown on the big screen.

Out of sync for me too and no lw11 info shown

Yeah the audio is definitely out on the current version although it apparently works when downloaded so must be a server-side thing maybe? I hope they do sort it out and edit the first 25 minutes out...I thought I'd caught the aftershow 'live' this morning, didn't realise it was the start :D

I'm sure word is already out about the event and people will be looking for any excuse to bash NT so dodgy videos streamed from an NT event aren't very good from a PR perspective, even if it was alright live.

yes, when it's downloaded then it's fine, online audio is totally out of sync, it has big delay. But now video is taken down so maybe we will see proper and full video soon (real soon not NT soon ;)).

Didn't you record the stream? If so, you do have the complete video allready? :)

Not for me either. However, I did watch the original presentation last night.

Someone mentioned a few minutes ago that the Stickam recording messed up, but that we have our own TriCaster capture to use, once the team is back in San Antonio. I wouldn't expect that to happen for a couple of days though, sorry.

I recorded the live stream here, but the audio are really out of sync since I had to record them separately using separate apps. :)

man how hard is it for NT to just post the video on their site?

This link just shows the big list of names of emmy winners but calls itself Lightwave 11 features video.

Hope they update soon

Yeah, I'm getting sick of reading about the fabulous event. To be honest I could care less about some corporate show and Emmy winners, I would like to see a demo of new feature however. That's really the only part of the presentation they should bother putting up, you know, for the masses who only care about what LW can do for them.
