View Full Version : Flipping in UV space?

I have a box that I've UV mapped but one of the sides needs to be flipped on the V axis. I can't figure out how to do it without flipping everything. How do I do it?

You can flip them by selecting the polys you want to flip and the go to transform uv anf lip them there or just press flip uv's found in the editUV's menu...

Thanks 3DGFX. I'm positive I tried this to begin with but it flipped everything, now it's working. I think it helps to flip as I create it rather than doing everything en-masse and then try and fix it later.

You can also use Transform UV (Scale U: -100% V: 100%, Center U: 50% V:0%) to flip the whole UV instead of per-polygon. Also UV2Morph or MFUV2Morp can make you a morph that you can edit the UV like other geometry and the make a Planar projection.

Thanks for the UV2Morph tip. Been taking a look and looks like it could come in really handy!
