Hello I have a tip of an arrow that I have placed bones in. the blades open up. I am having a problem orienting the bank of the lower bones left and right of center.

The bones place in the center or the upper blade are oriented correctly.

There are a couple of ways I can think of doing this.

1. Begin with skelegons in Modeler. Orient without having to worry about your pivot orientation.

2.Create duplicates of the first blade bones. Parent to null. Rotate the arrow until the next blade is vertical. Parent in Place and repeat. Use Parent Coordinates. Tedious but it would allow the open position to be the same value for each bone set.

There are probably simpler ways but if I was in your situation I'd have Option 1 or 2 done before thinking of a 3rd.

Just rotate the bone to be aligned the way you want, and hit record pivot rotation, easy as. Remember to rereset bones after rpr.
